The SpeedEFX Wrap Method

At SpeedEFX, wrapping a vehicle isn’t just about applying film—it’s about delivering a finished product that looks like it belongs there. Whether it’s a full color change or a custom restyle, every wrap goes through the same detailed, in-house process:

Design & Material Selection

We walk you through film finishes, color options, or design ideas—using only top-tier brands like PWF, Avery Dennison, Inozetek, Avery, and 3M. Once the vision is clear, we prep your project for install.

Surface Prep & Install

Your vehicle is washed, decontaminated, and prepped panel by panel. We apply your vinyl with sharp edgework, proper tension, and full surface contact—nothing rushed, nothing farmed out.

Inspection & Delivery

After installation, we let the film rest, then inspect every line, corner, and edge. We look for tension, lift points, and finish quality, so you drive away with results you’re proud of.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure if vinyl is the right move for your car or business? Here are answers to common questions we get from clients who expect high-end results.

Not unless they know what to look for. At SpeedEFX, we custom-fit every wrap panel by hand with seamless edges and precision trimming. Our vinyl wraps in Centennial are designed to look like paint—not like an add-on. Most clients say it looks better than factory.

We work exclusively with premium brands: Inozetek, PWF, Avery Dennison, 3M, Oracal, and KPMF. These films offer deeper color, better stretch, and longer durability, especially on exotic curves and modern body lines. It’s the only way to deliver long-lasting, high-end results on luxury vehicles.

Yes. Unlike quick shops, we remove badges, mirrors, handles, and trim when needed. This allows us to wrap deeper, reduce visible seams, and give your custom car wrap a finish that feels integrated, not patched together.

Sometimes, but it depends on the surface. For best results, we recommend wrapping directly over paint. If you already have paint protection film or ceramic coating, we’ll inspect it first. We may remove it or reapply coating after the wrap is complete to preserve long-term adhesion.

We’ve wrapped everything from matte factory finishes to raw carbon fiber. Our team uses safe prep methods, film-safe primers, and careful panel mapping to avoid damage. Every material gets custom treatment based on your vehicle’s exact finish.

Absolutely. Many SpeedEFX clients choose satin hoods, gloss black roofs, or subtle contrast panels. Partial wraps and chrome deletes are great ways to change your look without committing to a full-body color change.

We don’t recommend wrapping raw or textured plastic parts, such as unpainted bumpers or fender flares, because vinyl doesn’t adhere well to those surfaces. These areas can cause lifting or peeling over time. For best results, we stick to smooth painted surfaces where the film bonds properly and lasts longer.
